Finance Administrator

We require someone to perform a hyrbid role to manage day-to-day finances and handle accounts as well as credit control.

As business grows, we're looking for someone to take on bookkeeping and finance duties at PartB. You'll also manage invoicing, VAT and claims, holding accounting responsibilities. You'll be well supported by a Chartered accountancy firm (external to the business) and by your team here at PartB. Reporting into the operations manager, you'll look across company-wide finances to make strategic decisions that help us work better and smarter.

Main Duties

  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting for UK and Ireland regions.
  • This is to include but is not limited to coordinating annual audits and reviewing financial reports.
  • Payroll for UK and Irish employees.
  • Seek to improve current systems.
  • Oversee taxes - especially in relation to Ireland.
  • Budget preparation.
  • Collate and communicate financial results to management.
  • Liaise with external accountant.
  • Support operations team regarding contracts, invoices, schedules and invoicing in a timely manner.
  • Engager with marketing initiatives and attend promotional events.
  • Support ISO 9001.2015 readiness

What we ask for

  • Experience working in an accounting or financial environment.
  • Experience in audit and international accounting.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases.
  • Extensive knowledge of UK GAAP.
  • Expertise with QuickBooks.
  • Experience& knowledge of working with Ireland is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • AAT Qualification desirable.
  • ACA/ CA/ ACCA (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute or equivalent international qualification).
  • Internal payroll responsibilities(you're not expected to provide a full accountancy service).
  • Keenness to learn and develop and find creative ways to solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • You'll be supported by the PartB team and we will encourage and help you as you learn and develop.
