We’ve had lots of interest in PAS 9980 training and are pleased to confirm places on our new training course is now available to book - and filling up fast.  

The two-day course runs April 25-26 at PartB HQ in Melton Mowbray and it will highlight the key takeaways of the new PAS 9980 guidance. It's intended for anyone engaged in assessing fire risk for external walls. Delegates will receive 10 CPD hours.

Two highly experienced members of our team will deliver the course: Pete Wise and Steve Willett. Pete brings a wealth of fire engineering experience to ensure you’ll leave with a thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical implications. While Steve, our head of specialist training, brings extensive FRA and teaching experience to the sessions. Pete and Steve are highly personable, understanding mentors, and well-versed in the new PAS 9980 methodology. Together they'll deliver a strong, workable training experience for delegates of the new guidance.

Why sign up?

It will become a legal requirement to have the external envelope of the building assessed when the Fire Safety Act, 2021, comes into force shortly. PAS9980 is used to inform the fire risk assessment of the building, so becomes a key part of the Fire Safety Act and very likely the building safety bill. Our course will outline they key elements of the guidance that you need to be made aware of and our trainers will answer any questions you may have.
