Fire Engineers manage and deliver fire engineering projects to clients. You'll present findings through reports and also peer review reports from other members of the technical team, playing a vital part in the technical side of the business.
You will have a minimum of a degree in a fire engineering discipline with ideally 2 years' fire engineering design experience within a reputable UK-based fire engineering consultancy. A comprehensive understanding and the ability to competently demonstrate the previous application of UK fire design guidance/codes is essential.
You need to be a confident, strong communicator with the ability to make decisions as you will not only be dealing with clients on a daily basis, but other construction professionals, colleagues and peers via all modes of communication, including phone and video conferencing, email and in person.
The Technical Services Team houses PartB’s specialist engineering services as well as a core fire engineering team to support surveying, testing, and certification, to varying extents.

The Technical Services Team applies this knowledge to projects and internal processes to enhance PartB’s offering to clients.
