Our co-CEO Joe Taylor will be travelling the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland, popping into offices to deliver free fire safety workshops – kicking off with Fire Risk Appraisal of External Wall Construction and Cladding (FRAEW).
We believe the only way to improve the fire safety industry means sharing knowledge and making it readily available.
So we’re delighted to bring our Fire Safety Roadshow back for 2024 – and even more delighted to make it totally free, so everyone who wants to take part, can.
The roadshow is something our CEOs were doing before Covid and we think (and hope) they will bring tremendous value for people working in the building sector.
Our co-CEO Joe Taylor will be travelling the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland, popping into offices to deliver the workshops – kicking off with Fire Risk Appraisal of External Wall Construction and Cladding (FRAEW). We know many of our clients have previously received poor or conflicting advice around fire safety and we want to help. Workshops will take the form of an open Q&A where you can ask any burning questions. We’ll talk you through when FRAEWs are required, how they’re carried out, and what solutions can be considered as mitigation.
Joe said, ‘We want to help clients navigate the complexities of fire safety. With so many misinterpretations of previous government guidance and current standards, we want to ease the headache and bring a level of common sense to the industry. We will teach people to challenge, and spend their funds wisely and widely’.
It will be brilliant to meet people –we want to see your faces, talk to you about what we know to help you make better decisions in your roles. Plus, we’re a sociable lot, we enjoy meeting folk.
The workshops will cover a host of topics – all set by you, the people who want to know more. Joe will occasionally be joined by various members of the PartB team – many of whom have their own specialist fields in fire safety - as he journeys far and wide delivering our free workshops.
So… developers, contractors, designers, architectural and surveying practices, housing associations, get in touch… we’d love to come and see you.
If you’re interested in booking a workshop, email firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘PartB Roadshow’ in your subject line, along with more details about the training you’d like us to consider for your team.
